Introduction
On 13 August 1420, the discussion in Brabant reaches a climax when Brussels, Antwerp and ‘s-Hertogenbosch become involved in the quarrel between John IV and the nobles gathered in the city of Leuven (see dossier 9). They demand the trial of a group of the duke's councillors.
