Regest: Account prepared by Willem van Lalaing and given to the Court on 8 June 1445, and again on 23 September 1445. Account closed on 23 September 1445.

[Account] given [to the accountants] by the lord of Lalaing on 7 June 1445.


Given again on the 23 September of the aforesaid year.


This is the account and evidence handed over by the lord of Lalaing to the commission consisting of counsellors, appointed for that purpose by my gracious lord, and to the nobles, knights and deputies by the countries of Holland, Zealand and [West] Friesland added thereto. The account relates to the receipts and expenditures made by him to make peace between the countries and realms of Denmark, England, Prussia and Bremen, and to settle other urgent matters and burdens between these aforementioned countries, in order to maintain them in tranquillity, pais and peace, and to negotiate for that purpose. As the articles following hereafter reflect that each, and as further explained in the articles of expenditure.


Income


First the lord of Lalaing counts to have received from Magister, coming from the butter of Lüdinghausen as the articles counted by the said master with Henriet Venant, servant of the aforementioned lord of Lalaing, show: the sum of 130 pounds 15 shillings 10 pennies groats.
